"Chip him into the foundation," Martin said, piling a bundle of cash on the table.

"When do we meet the Red Pole?" one punk asked.

"He returns from Hong Kong tonight."

"Have we proved ourselves?"

"Yes, he is pleased. One more job and you'll be his 49s."

Kwan placed an address on the table.

"When?"

"This evening. Bring DeClercq here for questioning by the Red Pole."

"And if there's trouble?"

"Kill him," Martin said.
